It really is kind of a big deal
Even if you're not into the Ghibli effect

Have you tried ChatGPT’s new Image Generation feature?
It’s made big headlines this week (particularly for the Ghibli style images that flooded social media).
What makes this different is that ChatGPT can now natively understand what you are asking, and generate (and edit) images based on text prompts.
This is a change from how image generation worked with Dall-E 3, and how most image generators work (most can’t edit based on text prompts).
So it’s a step forward for image generation, especially since it can add text (lots of text) and do it with a great deal of accuracy.
Though it’s not perfect, as I found out and share in today’s issue.
Try it for yourself and see how it works.
Thanks for reading.

HOW I AI’D THIS WEEK
I asked it to create a YT Thumbnail with a woman on it and it did. Then it edited her clothes and hair exactly as I asked it to, while keeping her face identical.
I’ve also used it to create images for a Faceless TikTok channel. It is better than any other image generator I’ve tried, and keeps the characters consistent across multiple images.
However, several attempts at having it turn a selfie into a professional headshot failed to generate images that looked like me.
I also thought I would get fancy and make an infographic from a blog post about prompting as an example for this newsletter.
But it fell short too.
It took me several rounds of testing, and the output was never quite what I wanted:
It misspelled words (though not many and not often)
It sometimes changed the content completely when all I wanted was a simple edit
It had weird formatting
It cut off the image at the bottom (this is a known issue)
The best result I could get was:

Not bad. But not great either.
I could probably create something more attractive in Canva in less time than it took me to fiddle around with prompting ChatGPT to get this.
My overall verdict is that it is a powerful new tool and works better than any other similar option, but it isn’t the death knell of Canva or graphic designers.

STEAL THIS PROMPT
If you aren’t building your email list, you aren’t building a business.
Here’s a prompt to come up with lead magnet ideas that will help you build your list by solving a pressing, painful problem your target market experiences:
Act as a top-tier marketing strategist and lead magnet specialist. I want your help generating highly valuable and irresistible lead magnet ideas that are fast to create, highly relevant to my audience, and naturally lead into my core offer.
Before giving me ideas, collect detailed context by asking me the following questions one by one, and wait for me to answer each before continuing:
What is your business about? (Brief description of what you do and offer)
Who is your target market? (Describe your ideal customer, their goals, and their struggles)
What is your primary product or service you're selling? (Include the transformation or outcome it provides)
What platforms are you primarily using to attract leads? (E.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, blog, etc.)
What kind of content or tools do you already have? (e.g., blog posts, checklists, frameworks, email list, videos, etc.)
How comfortable are you with creating different types of content? (Rank from 1–5: video, audio, PDF guides, quizzes, templates, etc. - 1 = Not comfortable at all; 5 = Super comfortable / can crank it out fast)
What’s your superpower or unique edge in your niche?
Once you’ve collected this context, generate a table of 20 lead magnet ideas that:
Solve real, urgent, specific problems for my target audience
Are easy to consume quickly (under 15 mins ideally)
Lead naturally into my paid offer
Are aligned with what I can realistically create quickly
Present your output as a table with the following columns:
| Pain/Problem | Lead Magnet Solution | Type (PDF, Mini-Course, Quiz, etc.) | Hook/Title | Ease of Creation (1-5) | How It Connects to Paid Offer |
Each idea should be punchy, relevant, and require minimal time to implement, while feeling insanely useful to my audience. Prioritize clarity, speed, and perceived value.
After listing the ideas, suggest 2-3 places where I can promote each one based on the platforms I use.
WHAT I’M THINKING
I shared about a recent study that found AI got it wrong up to 60% of the time when asked to find specific sources.
It got a lot of reactions on TikTok. Check it out and let me know about your experience using AI as a search engine.

You made it to the bottom!
I’m still working on the best format for this newsletter.
I want to share valuable tips and tools, while keeping it digestible and fun.
If you could take a moment to let me know what you liked and what I could improve, I’d appreciate it!
